The news is good guys – we’re heading back to the water!
The ARYA & QRYA are happy for sailing to resume, the GPC has been informed and is very happy for us to be resuming activity and we’ve set the date: Sunday 7th June 2020 @ 1130.
Social distancing will be inforced when rigging and general set up, a GRCYC Sanitary Kit has been created, including wipes and hand sanitizer and we expect each member to use it often each week and finally, physical distancing while racing must be observed.
If you are looking for a post-COVID activity that blends a hobby with a sport, where you can safely enjoy the fellowship of a bunch of enthusiastic and (semi) competitive sailors in a happy outdoor atmosphere – I don’t think it gets any better than at the GRCYC.
