GRCYC Rockhampton based member Tony Flynn had been travelling down the Bruce to race with us in the Gladstone Harbour for a while - so the club decided to take the racing to Tony! We organised a Rocky Come & Try day at the Rocky Rowing Club. We got great support from the local media who advertised the day and heaps of spectators turned up. After we gave everyone a go, the club went into it's 10 race program. During the day WINTV came down and took footage for a local news story that ran on the Monday night.It was a great day for the club and the sport.
